HCL Me U1 Stock ROM With Google Play for Both 1 GB ram and 512 MB ram

>> Hey guys, I am here to share you HCL Me U1 Stock Rom [Google Play Inbuilt] Video tut coming soon...

Note : I am not responsible for bricked devices nor this site. You have already lost your warranty by soft bricking your device[By flashing custom software.][By flashing this you have void the warranty]

>> Why do we need stock rom ??

>> This is useful for those who like to mod their devices and can quickly revert back to stock if any damage to OS is done.

>> What all you need to revert back to stock rom :

>> The device you want to revert back in this case this stock rom is for HCL Me U1 tab only.

>> Download the stock rom first : Link : HCL Me U1 [111 Mb]

>> After Downloading the file Extract it

>> Then Connect your tab in download mode. Press Power Button and Vol + Button [You will get VDFU Disk ]

>> Then open MP tool.exe


>> Then go to settings
>> Leave the option for 512 MB ram verion but for 1 GB ram version select elpida 8bit 1024 in DDRtype

>> then select vortex.pak :>> Then save it and return to menu


>> then scan for you device. [You must have connected it during the process]

>> Then Press Update and wait. It will flash the stock rom delete all the data in internal Storage.

>> Woah you have stock rom back on you device.

>> I am also going to post a custom rom on this tab & tut on how to root Hcl Me U1 tab.

    I want to install cwm. But when I try to, Terminal emulator always says 'permission denied'. The solution for it is they say that the permissions have to be edited for the required folders. I am able to edit all the permissions except for the mmp... file.

    M LOOKING FOR THE STOCK ROM THAT CAME WITH THE DEVICE (THE ROM WITHOUT GOOGLE PLAY), COZ THIS MODDED STOCK ROM WITH GOOGLE PLAY PER-INSTALLED HANGS A LOT AND ALSO HAS WIFI CONNECTIVITY ISSUES.

      Then select Product Family : Tablet
      Product Category : Me Tablet
      Select Product Model/System Version : U1
      Then press Go you will have a site loaded. Click the first one i.e
      U1 Image ICS 4.0 click to Download
      You will have Official One from HCl and can you tell me how much ram did you had before flashing this ROM

    I did this but after Completing the MPTool process tablet didn't restart automatically.So I reset and power on the device(also did without reset) but it stuck on HCL ME logo.Mine is a 1024GB RAM Tab so I changed elpidea 8bit 1024 in DDRtype.What can I do?Please help..

      Hmm i think so download the official PDF for flashing with MP tool
      See through it again : http://goo.gl/D3OhCj
      and your tab must have restarted automatically if it succeeded in flashing the stock ROM
      And it also happens if your tab does not have 1024 MB ram but you flashed it with that setting. Choose correct RAM Config :D
      If you are facing more problems then please attach an snippet with it, i.e. use snipping tool to take a screen shot of it and upload it to any site and post it along your problem :D i will try my best to help you

    ha bro plz upload hcl me y1 stock rom . bcoz my internal storage show 00.0b in internal storage so plz me bro..i cant install any apps ..on my tab and if i off/on my tab its factroy reset every time..

      Check for the image files for your tab here : http://www.hclsupportservice.in/drvr-dwnld.jsp

      Choose your tablet get your image and it must be including the flashing instruction with it see it and follow through flashing.
