Karbonn Smartab 1 to get Android 4.1 update

Karbonn had announced its first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet in India, Smarttab 1 sometime back. But the users who bought the Android 4.0 ICS based version need not be disappointed as the company plans to make the Jelly Bean update available in the first week of September itself.

The Jelly Bean update for the existing Smarttab 1 users will be available in the first week of September. Users will be able to update their tablet over the air (no need of PC).
